So I found this really awesome frame at JoAnns, and I was SO excited to find a cute frame for cheap, it was a 20$ frame for $6 (it was in the damaged section). I saw a scratch on the frame and thought that was the damage, but nope, the problem was no glass. Of course, I didn't realize this until last night when I tried to put the print in that I ordered and realized it wouldn't work because there was no glass. Yup, pretty sad! I can't believe I didn't think about there being glass in the frame! So HERE is what I was going to do. But now I need to go find another frame :( It'll be awesome once I find one!
I ordered a print of our Prophet and Apostles (which you can download from the link above), then I was going to write in the topics of all their conference talks and place it on the wall as a constant reminder. Which I think is such an awesome idea!
don't get rid of the frame yet!!!! Remember yard sales...I usually find all my nicer frames at yardsales and the ones that I had that didn't have glass...I could usualy buy a frame the same size and switch out the glass!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree :) I'm keeping the frame, I just have to find another one to switch out the glass. :) I thought maybe I'd go check goodwill!
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool. Good luck finding glass to go with it. You can usually go to a glass company and buy a piece of glass for it for not too much money. I look forward to seeing your finished result!
ReplyDeleteI was just going to recommend Goodwill, I've done that for numerous frames where I have clumsily broken the glass in a frame I've had.
ReplyDeleteGood to know :) Thanks for commenting on my blog! It's always exciting to have someone new read it!
